Budget and Finance
CS Partners will serve as full service business office for the school.
Services include but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable oversight
- State aid deposits and other deposits as applicable
- Cash flow planning
- Monthly financial statements to the board to include budget vs. actual, balance sheet and cash flow forecast
- Development and implementation of board approved budget as well as making amendment recommendations
- Audit preparations to include file preparation and pre-audit audit
- Grant reporting
- Compliance reporting as it pertains to financial information
- Bank Reconciliation
- Arrange for State Revenue Anticipation notes
Transition Services
Many charter schools have been in operation successfully for several years and have expressed an interest and a desire to become self or partially managed. We at CS Partners recognize this need and have begun working with charter schools in Michigan to accomplish this goal.
Initially we will provide full service management to work hand in hand with the academy to determine what the areas of need are and prepare the school leadership and staff for the transition. Over a period of one to three years we will transition the school to partial management providing a menu of services from which the academy can choose to use on a fee basis. We are willing and able to adjust the schedule to the needs of the school. Throughout the entire process CS Partners will continue to manage all human resources and budget/finance resources.
